| Recipes From Your Own Kitchen. | RICE WATER for Facial Toning Tightening Pores This mask is very easy to prepare. The water you would cook the rice is beneficial for toning lose skin. Apply rice water after cooling on your face and neck avoiding the mouth and eye area. When dried completely rinse your face with distilled water.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR AND ORIS VISTA REFRESHER MASK To tighten pores and reduce oiliness, apply this skin tonic with a cotton ball. 1 cup distilled or spring water 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 5 drops of Oris Vista Refresher (combination of 10 anti-aging oils and rose water) or essential oil of your choice (lavender, chamomile, carrot seed) Combine all ingredients in a sterilized glass jar with close-fitting lid. Shake mixture before using each time. Leave the mask for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
GRAPE TONIC FOR EXTRA GLOW Use two handfuls of grapes, remove seeds, and blend it in the blender. Apply to a clean face with circular motions for increased blood circulation and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
LEMON AND HONEY PICK-UP MASK For very dehydrated skin use 2 tablespoons of pure organic honey, 1 tablespoon of cream and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix it well and apply by patting with your fingers, leave for 20 minutes and rinse off with bottled or spring water and cotton pads.
HONEY and OAT BRAN SKIN EXFOLIANT This one really wakes up a dull complexion and also soothes and nourishes the skin 2 tablespoons organic honey 1 tablespoon oat bran ½ medium orange juices ½ cup of yogurt Mix well and apply to a clean face with circular motions. Leave the mask for 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water. The vitamin C and alpha-hydroxy acids in orange juice are great for livening up the skin, and yogurt is a lovely gentle cleanser and nourishes, while oat bran acts as a gentle exfoliant.
